Steve James

Steve James is a long-time computer-industry writer who's covered the documentation needs of organizations as diverse as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Psychological Testing Corporation. A former environmental engineering researcher, Steve has concentrated his efforts in some computer-related operation or another for the past fifteen years. Along the way, he's fathered more than 50-odd manuals and other lengthy works of technical prose, and has made some excellent friends along the way.

Currently, Steve divides his time between the keyboard, his family, and the great outdoors, where the thrill of competitive bicycling continues to lure him, despite his accelerating decreptitude.
